Shorebirds: Juvenile: As non-breading, but covers are strongly berred with buffish-brown at the tip. Other contour feathers of upperparts shows narrow buff fringes when fresh, but these wear off rapidly to leave a rather isolated area of barring on the coverts of the folded wing. Tertials are plain grey-brown, except for a buffish tip and some subterminal brown barring. Derfor 1k.
